The Accenture Cyber HackAdemy is a training initiative in partnership between the University of Napoli Federico II and Accenture. The main goal of the HackAdemy is to forge security experts in the context of the so-called Industry 4.0 ecosystem. The training path aims at designing and delivering advanced activities in the field of ICT security, with special reference to techniques and protocols for securing networks, cloud infrastructures and IoT (Internet of Things) systems.
Offensive Defense methodologies will also be part of the curriculum. The approach at the HackAdemy is hands-on and perfectly fits the so-called Challenge Based Learning (CBL) framework, which comprises both in-person and remote education, as well as experiential learning.
The complete process will be divided into three phases:
  1. Acquisition of the basic skills necessary to develop effective cybersecurity solutions;
  2. In-depth study of vertical topics including cloud network architectures, IoT-type ecosystems and ethical hacking;
  3. Group "Project-work" relating to issues of corporate interest.

For students who have successfully completed the educational path, Accenture undertakes to offer a 6-month internship period at one of the Italian offices and/or an employment contract based on the results achieved.

The target audience is composed of people holding a high school diploma, university students and graduate students. The laboratory is part of Federico II technological hub at San Giovanni a Teduccio, in the eastern area of the city of Naples. Participation in the classes is free of charge. After the selections, the top five applicants in the ranking will be assigned a scholarship of 500€ per month, for the entire duration of the classes.
For the 2023 selections, the course will run from June 2023 to January 2024 and will include lectures, exercises, self-study, development of group work and "project-work/internship".
